the Kamehameha ancestors came from Upolu, Samoa then they came from Upolu, Samoa from the homeland of PA'AO & PILIKA'AIEA. He never said the Philipines, nor Tahiti, he wrote it in his only book written in 1888 and published by Tuttle Co. Inc in 1974 by His Majesty King David Kalakaua. The Hawaii King said his Kamehameha ancestors came from Upolu, Samoa so let that be done for it was proclaimed by a Kamehameha King himself. Leiataua Sons of UH-Manoa there is no controversy. Kamehamehas came from the land of Tamameamea. Like it or not, thats Kalakaua's printed & published Proclamation.
