I understand the island mentality especially when it comes to being gay. I am from the Bahamas. Growing up in a homophobic society was hell. I think that it's a shame that guys like Esera and myself have to run from our cultures just to be ourselves. But when it comes to personal happiness and self love and self acceptance, there's nothing I would change. I am gay, Esera is gay, and we are proud.
BTW, he looks great in that new Chili's commercial. Be proud of a Son of your Soil!!!
