Talofa uo ma e masani (although I doubt I know many on the list),

I am wondering what is your understanding of the word 'gutulua'? I know it litterally means 'two mouths' and I know that it is often referred to people who are untruthfull. But, what I would like to know is where did this word (phrase perhaps) originate from?
