Manaia le taofi a lau susuga Tafiolepumate,

Fortunately or otherwise the Samoan Constitution permits the freedom of religion, which, as you rightly pointed out - it contradicts the founding of our nation in God. Although I consider myself a Christian, I am not one to condemn Muslims or Bahai(ans). Before the current threat of terrorism - our human history is littered with historical accounts of Christian wars/invasions (we call it terrorism today). I will always be a Christian but I am willing to open my eyes and to know what other religions are about - be they Muslims, Hindus, or Youth-Fellowships. From my limited understanding the Muslim (or Islam) was born out of the Old Testament, but so were the Jews. Just think, what would we be like if we were raised in a Muslim nation; would we condem the Christians or should we treat others the same way that we would like to be treated?

Before we kill the messenger lets hear the message and then make an informed decision.

Peace be with you all and Samoa.
