I think it really depends on the type of cultures that are marrying. Also the way you have been brought up and what you have been expose to. I'm from a christian black family, we hold God and family in high esteem. Every since I can remember my parents friends and their families came from every where and so I was expose to many cultures like japanese, mexican, pureto rican, samoan, tongan and some cultures I realized are more similar to mines then others from food to family and so on. I think living in mostly white neighborhoods and then through church and community involvement I have a balance understanding of what would work for me personally.
