You just pour the coconut cream over the paa's, do not add water because the paa juices will eventually mix in with the coconut, diluting it and adding flavour. Onions will also add some good flavour, depends on your taste.
You don't need to level the coconut cream with all the paa, but put enough coconut cream to cover at least the bottom layer.
