Samoa is not the only place where you find bad services, its everywhere. I'm not going to mention the name of the Airline because I don't want one ignorant person make the whole company look bad. This one palagi guy thought he had the power to control an innocent traveler from behind the counter. This treaveler who happens to be only 16yrs old, very beautiful girl and also a very friendly and loving person and who happens to be my dearest neice.
I dropped off my neice at the airport because she was flying back home to Samoa. The check-in line wasn't long so I figured she'll checked herself in at no time while I go and pick up my husband. After I picked up my husband we headed back to the airport and it was like 20-30mins later. When I got to the airport my neice was standing at the counter while the airport agent was checking-in or serving other customers. My neice already gave the agent her ticket and all the required documents. The only thing she needed from this agent was her seat/gate number and that was it, because we already called in to confirm her flight. She had no luggage to be checked in because it was checked in the evening before when she arrived from the mainland. She had just her carry on bag. It was supposed to be a simple check-in and then go to the gate kind of thing but this palagi bastard made it hard for my neice who happens to be a very smart Samoan teenager but had to stand there for more then 15-20 mins just to wait for a seat number. And then he expected me the family member to take his bullshit and not say anything about it...The main reason why I was mad was because when I got there my neice was standing waiting while he was serving a customer, then another customer and another customer and all she needed was a seat number which was good and ready for her but the bastard had to play *the patient game thing*. I didn't want to make a big scene by telling him off in front of everyone and make me look like I'm the bad person.....but I did it the palagi way.....lol..... but my point is we all do run into this kind of services and you can either laugh about it or become one of them by giving them attitude.
Its always *look on the bright side* kind of thing when you run into that kind of service and go home and laugh about it....It happens and people handle their anger management differently... so its funny sometimes. Oh and the funny thing about that palagi guy, he didn't know that my neices' Aunty happens to be his boss.
