Its common profanity that is used in the heat of the moment. Think of a moment where you are strongly emotional, you start to see red and want to lay the smack down. When you feel like that what would you say? It wouldn't be too dissimilar to what you would say.
Check out the "fa'a Samoa" title on this site and learn more effective words. Learn the more friendly words and you'll go farther. I know these words you mentioned were used when my sister and I were getting hidings from our mom. I have no use for them until that time comes around again - hehehe!
