Pagipopo (coconut buns)


Ingrediants:


5 cups of self-raising flour
5 cups of plain flour
4 tbsp sugar
4 and a half cups of warm water
2 sachets of yeast


Method:


1.Mix 4 cups of warm water with yeast and leave standing for 5 mins.
2.Mix yeast ingrediants with dry ingrediants.
3.Add 2 cups of milk and mix into a dough.
4.Cover dough mixture with a tea towel and leave standing for 2 hours.


Cream:

2 cans of coconut cream.
3 cups of water
2tbsp of water
2 cups of sugar


Method:
1.Pour contents of coconut cream into a bowl and add 3 cups of water.
2.Add the cornflour and stir until ingrediants are well blended.
3.Add sugar and stir again until it is dissolved.
4.Pour coconut mixture into a baking dish.
5.Roll dough into small buns and put into baking dish.Make sure the buns have enough space between thm to ensure for buns to rise.
6.Bake at 200 degrees celcius until brown on top.
7.Then when ready put the buns aside for about half an hour too cool before serving.
