Yes, I do agree. Was last in Samoa 1997 for the Teuila and I thought it was me that had the attiutude but to be honest, some of the woman especailly in the hotels treated us like crap. And we were guests of the owners. I raised this issue with some of the guys who worked in the hotel and they said to me it's because we were born in New Zealand or Australia. Like they are jealous! It's not our fault our parents decided to leave Samoa to give us a better life. It's sad because I know this has not only happened to me but to alot of my family members who have gone to Samoa for a holiday only to come back not happy with the way us Kiwi or Aussie borns are treated. That's why I haven't gone back it's just left a sour taste in my heart because this is where my roots lie. I'd love to take my kids back but if this is the way we are going to be treated - NO THANKS!
