Malo lava,
If your paternal grandmother is Faailoa & your paternal grandfather is Mila Sapolu, that makes you my 3rd cousin. My mother is the daugheter of Saute Savave Sapolu, and my mother's father's father is Savave. Savave is the son of the first Sapolu. Savave's brother was your grandfather's father's brother .
The most amazing thing about the orginal Sapolu was that he was a missionary who went to Tuvalu Islands & ended up as an ambassador for Samoa to Tuvalu as well as being a missionary. When he returned to Samoa he bought four pieces of land in Samoa for his children and descendants. Those lands are in Vaiala beach, Apia Park, Faatoia and Vaisigano rivier close to Apia.
We have a MediaSapolu company which publishes the Urbansamoa magazine. My aunty Mati ( same name as your mum) who lives in Hawaii too, distributes the magazine. The website is : www.urbansamoa.com
Keep writing and alofa to your families.
Tofa,
Sulu
